Donna moved to the area in 2001 and was searching for part time employment. While working with Katy and Charlie she decided to open her own salon and thus began her journey as the owner of Nolas Salon. Donna maintains the daily operations of Nolas, her mission is to make sure you look good, feel good and enjoy your visit to our salon.
Charlie Miller received his cosmetologist license in 2001 and his Senior Cosmetologist license in 2005. Charlie has been with Nolas since its creation in 2006. Charlie's desire to expand his skills has led him to numerous hair shows including the Paul Mitchell signature show in Las Vegas. With his knowledge of classic cutting and coloring techniques as well as his passion for trends its guaranteed that Charlie can provide you with the look you are trying to achieve.
Katy received her cosmetologist license in 2001 after attending International Beauty School. Katy has been with Nolas since its inception in 2006. Katy is Nolas senior nail technician and has trained with OPI, CND and Backscratchers. Katy's passion for the beauty industry has led her to focus on maintaining the health and beauty of the natural nail. In addition to nails Katy is certified in waxing through GiGI and has trained in all aspects of hair design by attending numerous classes with Kenra, It's a 10, Malibu and many more.
Amy has been a licensed Cosmetologist since 2001 and joined the Nolas team in 2007. In the years she has been with us she has attended numerous cutting and color classes. Amy loves the beauty industry and strives to treat her clients like family. With her experience in all aspects of hair including certificates from both Coppola keratin treatments and Babe hair extensions you can be sure Amy will listen to your needs and provide you with the style you're looking for.
Alissa has been a licensed cosmetologist since 2006 after attending Award Beauty School and International Beauty School. She joined the team at Nolas in June of 2007. Since starting her career Alissa has attended color classes by Kenra, Matrix and Wella along with classes on cutting and styling techniques. She holds a certification in Coppola keratin treatments. Alissa is mindful of full body health and wellness and looks forward to working with you on achieving hair that is healthy and stylish.
Carissa received her Cosmetologist license in 2009 after attending International Beauty School and immediately joined our team of stylists. Carissa has a love for trending color and highlighting techniques. She has honed these skills as well as her cutting skills through taking multiple classes from Kenra, L'Anza, and Redken to name a few. She is certified in Babe, Twisted Fringe and Dream Catcher hair extensions as well as Babe lash extensions. Carissa's goal is to work with you to give you the hair you desire and deserve.
Ashley graduated from Laurel Business institute in November 2017. During her time in school she worked with the staff at Nolas as an assistant on the weekends. During 2019 she began working as a licensed cosmetologist within our salon. Since she joined our team she had taken classes from Kenra, Chi, Matrix, Hattori Hanzo and more. She has joined our other talented stylists by obtaining a certificate from Coppola keratin treatments and Brazilian Blowout. Ashley finds inspiration from fashion and makeup to transform her client's hair into the hair they dream of.
Anna Broadwater is our Licensed Esthetician. She graduated from Morgantown Beauty College, and went on to work at the European Wax Center in Morgantown for a year where she became trained body waxing, including speed waxing.
Trish is a certified barber and cosmetologist and has been working in the industry since 2013. She recently moved back to the area from Morgantown. Trish has studied at Style Academy in Los Angeles, Sports Clips and Carver Carree Institute. Not only is she an expert in men’s styles and grooming, she enjoys working with women and children.
Sofi graduated from Paul Mitchell the School in December 2021. After she graduated, she worked as an assistant before going behind the chair. She enjoys doing vivid colors and short haircuts. Sofi is open to all ideas and wants to create hair that you will love.
Quinn graduated from Laurel Business Institute in 2021. She’s been working as a licensed cosmetologist since September 2021. Since beginning her career she enjoys color, Gel-X® nails, hair extensions, as well as wedding makeup and hair! Quinn’s main goal is to make each of her clients feel happy and beautiful.
